What Is Metal Shearing?

Metal “Shearing” refers to the practice of cutting sheet metal with a blade in a machine that operates much like a giant pair of scissors. Once positioned exactly in the shearing machine, a blade is rapidly lowered, precisely cutting a straight line as long as 10 feet.

The Custom District can also cut and form complex shapes, but we use methods in addition to shearing.
