Custom Bending Services
Here at The Custom District we have bending and brake metal capabilities up to 21-foot lengths as thick as 14 gauge steel or 1/8th aluminum. We supply parapet caps, cornice, flashing, soffits, and other roofing accessories in addition to ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) panels, store front cladding, stainless counters and wall cladding and countless custom metal solutions.
Coupled with our premier design, wood and metal fabrication/manufacturing, CNC routing, and finishing services, The Custom District delivers a full-spectrum of solutions for commercial, residential and product development projects.
AUTOMAX Plus: Our state-of-the-art long folding machine can bend material up to 14 gauge, allowing us to create more complicated shapes than other bending services:
Our AutoMax Plus combines automated bending of angles up to 145 degrees, material clamping, and material support into a single CNC controlled system employing wing bending techniques.
The curved C Frame design provides superior clamping pressures while eliminating stress points. This design allows for much more free space for complicated bends / profiles.
Work pieces are fully supported by the back gauge tables beneath the clamping C frames, positioned to an accuracy of +/- .004″. The machine's five fingers will travel down to 0.394″ position.
